Oops, I haven't posted in a bit so here are a couple pictures. My MIL is in town and here's the dress Mina picked out when she took her shopping. And here are the fab shoes she picked out. Here she is working them on the pier, in shorts and a tshirt. And lastly, Lupe was subjected to a little dress up. Not that she minded too much because red hair suits her.

Mina begged me to get her these slippers from Lil Tokyo a week or so ago. She'd pay with her allowance, she said. She tried on every color, but she knew the red ones were for her all along. I caved, of course. They were $7.

My friend Michael from EcoVelo and her daughter Tess were kind enough to send Mina some cycling gear that Tess had grown out of. If you notice, I haven't posted in a couple days. This is because all Mina has worn for 3 days straight are the cycling jersey and pants. To bed, after basketball, out to the store. I had to pry them off to wash them. Thanks Michael & Tess!

I like that all of Mina's outfits aren't outrageous and that some are just subtly interesting. Like a shirt over a dress with a belt. I love the colors.

Going to School, June 4th; Sister Act Too

Mina's best friend's mom owns a great, high end kid's clothing line called Kaiyaeve (Mina's leggings are Kaiyaeve). Yesterday, Mina hung out at the Kaiyaeve warehouse and she collected ribbon and her BFF's mom let them make headbands. I love the scraps of ribbon Mina wove into her entire outfit this morning.Maya wanted to get some site time, and rightfully so. She's got a great sense of style too. Maya got these boots for her 10th birthday. She wore them maybe once, and I knew to save them for Mina. Mina waited 4 long years for the boots to finally fit so she could rock them hard.Carmen wants to pose too!

Mina got this sparkly, gold bolero sweater handed down to her from the sweet little girl who lives downstairs. Only Mina knows how to wear this kind of stuff.
